What did I think after trying Brava Minis from WeCrochet? Well, who doesn’t love cute little balls of squishy yarn?! Brava minis are such a fun and cute way to get to know the different colors that are available in WeCrochets brava yarn line. I have used this yarn for years but have only recently worked with the minis as they just became available to purchase individually and not just in a large multi-pack.
In all honesty, I had gotten some of the mini packs before for 100% decorative purposes. I used them to add a little spice to my yarn room decor and filled a few honeycomb shelves to give a really cool gradient of color. Having all the minis is so satisfying and whenever I have an idea for a new project I can go ahead and make a palette with the colors I have before ordering the full skeins.
Each mini is 25g and 54 yards, worsted weight, 100% acrylic, and is truly one of the softest acrylic yarns I have worked with, it holds up well in the washer and dryer and to me just gets softer the more you use a project. I love making blankets out of this yarn for this exact reason! The minis come in color-coordinated packs of 24 and can also be purchased individually to mix and match on your own. The individual skeins at regular price are $0.97 which is about $0.02 a yard. The multipacks at the regular price are $19.99 containing 600 total grams and 1308 yards coming out to a little less than $0.02 per yard. Overall I believe is a pretty good deal without having to make a large commitment to one color.
Other than using the minis to help plan my projects I have been crocheting these super adorable mini flower appliques out of all of the different colors. It is such a fun way to use mini balls of yarn making it the perfect way to create a rainbow of projects.
Let me know if you have tried the brave minis before and whether or not you love them as much as I do! (:
